I often shoot smaller, more intimate weddings, but this was my first true elopement, and I loved everything about it. With no crazy timeline to follow, the whole experience so relaxing and fun! Taryn and Josh said their “I Dos” as the sun began to set at Witty’s Lagoon in Metchosin, and it was all so romantic.
After the ceremony, we headed to a picnic table in the park for some cake and champagne. Taryn, the bride, makes custom cakes, and made the pretty little cake herself. It was so delicious! You can check out her website here https://www.cakebytaryn.com/ .
Fun fact : the couple used a photo of themselves with the cake as a fun way to announce their elopement to family and friends, and it was featured in Huffpost! You can check out the article here .
After some portraits, the newlyweds headed to Stage Wine Bar in Fernwood for some candlelit dinner and champagne, the perfect ending to their first evening as husband and wife.
This is probably the most magical post ever! We are so over the moon with all our photos, you have no idea! Plus, this blog post is pretty fun too! 😉
I came to this gallery via HuffPost and I am so glad that I did! The photos are so beautiful! You really captured the romance, sweetness and love of this elopement. Cheers!
