Fairburn Guesthouse, Duncan BC

Paul and Rachel’s wedding was intimate and stunningly beautiful. The ceremony and reception were both designed with such careful detail by the team at ma-luxe, and Fairburn Farm is indescribably beautiful (just look at the photos)! Corn fields, rolling hills, a rustic barn and water buffalo! If you haven’t had the chance to meet a water buffalo yet, you should put it on your list, they are the cutest animals ever, and love eating maple leaves (who woulda thought?)

I adore shooting small weddings because it gives me the chance to meet everyone, and even make a few new friends on occasion! You know it’s been a good one when you say good-bye to the bride and groom and they are still wearing photo booth props from an hour ago.
