Kate & Jake – Goward House & St. Michaels University Wedding

Kate and Jake’s wedding covered a lot of “firsts” for me as a wedding photographer.

For starters, it was my first time shooting at the beautiful Goward House and St. Michaels University school. The new hall at St. Michaels had just finished construction in time for the wedding, and the floor to ceiling windows and wood beams were swoon-worthy.

Arguably as important, this was the first time I captured a full, 14 person wedding party shotgun, and it was EPIC (I’m pretty sure the bride won… see below).

But the best “first” came a bit later when Jake and his groomsmen DESTROYED the dance floor with their choreographed moves! This mashup of sweet tunes and various hilarious dance moves beat out anything I’d ever seen on YouTube. It was such a fun experience and I’m so glad to have been able to capture it!

All in all, it was a wonderful wedding with such amazing (and FUN) people. I couldn’t have asked for a better day.
